“My passion for design can be traced back to the days I could barely walk, whether it was Legos, K’nex, Erector Sets, I was tinkering with it. The bigger I got, the bigger ideas and inspiration I got, following iconic designers like Zaha Hadid, Mies Van der Rohe, and Frank Lloyd Wright.
I studied architecture at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and began my career as an intern and junior designer at Gensler in San Francisco, later working at SITU Studio in New York City.
My projects have included collaboration on a future-focused 22 acre community space in Portola Valley, an eco-minded off-grid tiny home built with 100% organic insulation, and various remodels around the Bay.
In my free time you can usually find me in my fabrication shop tinkering around with the CNC Router, making furniture, or trying to reorganize for the 100th time (I promise I am on the verge of systematic perfection!). You might also find me on the road in my camper van with my wonderful wife Cory and our dog Rufio, volunteering on a Burning Man art project, or trying hard not to drown at my newest favorite hobby, surfing.”
